BIND ME TO YOU in the nooks and crannies of my mind in the rivers and streams beyond time Meher Baba, may I remember you. like flower to earth like star toward sun let the desert of my heart receive your blessing bind me to you my heart my hands reach out your hidden dream erases all illusion like sand to sea honey to bee leaf and flower to tree bind me to you. the world makes no sense yet you are my recompense your wealth binds me to the poverty of this world Meher Baba, may I remember you. contents

DANCING INTO LIGHT dancing in the darkness before dawn breaks my breath slowly renewing itself above whispers invisible mountains dancing in the light of your infinite love your grace gives me courage I know the strength of things unseen I know the path where none have tread as I walk this invisible mountain step by step my feet move beyond invisible boundaries always dancing in the light of your infinite love. contents

SPRINGTIME NEVER SLEEPS springtime never sleeps it lingers dormant in our imagination until the next rebirth of new commands our view giving us a glimpse of our own ongoing possibilities forever emerging like a glimmer of sweetness and renewal secretly lingering all year within the dark midnight of sacred hibernation. contents

PASSION FLOWER (passiflora coccinea) (There is a legend that when one picks a passion flower, drinks the nectar and then tosses the petals while making a wish, one can actualize their dream). I drink the nectar of the passion flower and toss the bright red petals into the clear rocky stream my hands touch the earth find one smooth round stone waterfalls dance to the ocean. contents

EMBRACING YOU you came to me quietly you didn’t take me by storm you spoke your message silently and my spirit was reborn I still remember your silence before the midnight rain I still truly feel the harmony in the song that has no refrain barefoot walking on the beach your silence beyond my reach calls me to listen your gifts mirror my longing your music sparkles with laughter an ancient echo of a hidden prayer blossoming silent connection inner reflection stealing replacing magnifying the simple truth within your love I am entering the calm sea her ripples seduce me I am casting myself within her net the web of safety at home in this life discovered in the desert of my desire you are a new moon seed of opening mystic sliver of rainbow in silence I find my different knowing asleep so long we rise to grasp our beginnings so swift this river running its course seeking passage always turning beyond what I know time carries the river to our doorstep embracing you I linger to receive the blessing gently unveiled in silent illumination. contents

FINALLY, IN SILENCE finally, in silence I came to see the meaning of your light the meaning that gives birth to myself finally I can see the meaning of the light it is so unexpected this grace after years of toil finally to see some meaning in my death years locked in prison beyond repair I thought finally I see meaning in the pain grace of reward that the paingiver is also the painkiller this I see in silence I came to see this new understanding a new way to be being with you and never again alone... finally to bend to reach beyond this space of lack or limitation today the future is boundless today I celebrate infinity. contents

A QUIET BALANCE all of my life I have been wishing for this star a natural sense within me searching for the way some bright light yet not too bright a soft and gentle breeze yet the wind not too strong a balance between two extremes finding my place sharing that place of knowing finding that purpose searching with others giving voice to the quiet voice within through intuition the magical harmony repeats itself until I no longer hear the discord a quiet balance emerges against all odds I can share who I am, against all odds a quiet balance emerges, quiet remembrance. contents
