I AM NOT LEAVING!

 
After a time He said through Eruch: I am so pure that I am shy to enter in where there are any impurities — gesturing to His heart.

Moments later [May 30, 1958] they carried Him towards the door to the plane. We followed the lift chair. Ruth* was trying to walk fast; she said to me: I want to touch Baba just once more — twice she said it.

We were far behind but we pushed forward. Baba knew. He had the men carrying Him pause for just one moment, dear Ruthie reached Him — touched His shoulder from the back — and they took the Beloved to the plane.

I stood alone watching for a long time. Baba suddenly appeared in the door of the plane, gave one last gesture of farewell, and smiled His smile of smiles, gestured: Isn't it wonderful? — I am not leaving!
