THOUGHTS THAT WOULD DISPLEASE HIMNajoo Kotwal As she sat waiting for the bus to move again, a frightening thought came to her. She wondered what would happen to Adi, Hilloo and me if she were to die. Beloved Baba, who was standing outside the bus near her window, read her thoughts, and in silence He gestured to her, "You will not die. I am with your children always, so don't worry. You will grow to be an old woman." Mummy felt very embarrassed and ashamed that she had doubted His compassion, especially when He had promised Father on the first day that He would see to our littlest needs until the very end. She could not know it then, but the Lord's prophecy would come true, as she lived to be eighty-nine years of age. Still, she realized fully from this incident that Baba is all-knowing, and from then on she did not dare think thoughts in front of Him that would displease Him. HE GIVES THE OCEAN, pp. 90-91
