A Glow Exclusive

There is One Indivisible Ocean of existence and one only. All energy, space, light, power, life, lie latent in the Ocean. Now, when the Creation comes out of the Creation- point, it manifests in duality. Creation, manifesting as multiple forms, is the direct opposite to the Ocean, which is One. Everthing coming out of the Creation-point exists as duality; good-bad, weakness-strength. In the apparent beginning — there is no real beginning and no end — two drops expressing through stone and mineral form to the vegetable form. In this form, energy manifested. Here the two drops faced each other in the process of evolution. As these two drops faced each other a tremor began. In other words, the energy resident in these two drops, of the same quality and quantity, attracted each other, with the result that the attraction of the differentiated energies toward each other drew the forms together.

There was as yet no intellect, no feeling, no emotion, and yet there was union. This was the original sexless union. Now, when these forms reached the animal stage, the energies of each increased, with the result that the faint impression of union which had been present in the vegetable form, now evolved into primary instinct. And instinct acting upon energy created the primal sexual passion.

The soul has no connection with any of this. The soul remains quite aloof. This primal sexual urge, is the outcome of energy and instinct moving together. Animals do not feel as human beings do. They do not love each other, but passion is in full force. Even attachments to their young is not love, for some animals eat their offspring, and others neglect them. It is not love or feeling but merely attachment due to the existence of passion.

Now when the two original drops had evolved the highest animal form, just prior to the human form, for the first time full consciousness was born and this consciousness overpowered the energy. The result was that the two forms became one — the two energies merged. The two drops now existed in one form. That first human being, having two energies, two selves in one form, was BABA . . . the beginning of Avataric manifestation. Thus came into being the first human who had full consciousness. Now full consciousness acting upon energy created emotion, to such an extent that it could not control itself. Sexual desires were in full sway. So this double energy divided itself again, after taking upon itself 77 human forms. In the 77th form, this two-in-one life split again. The drops become separated and in becoming divided, they took on completely opposite forms. Now sex and sexual feeling were fully manifested. This point marked the end of the evolutionary process up to this period; there was no death, no leaving the world of form. But now that the drops were separated, they began to leave the world and later to reincarnate. They took 120 forms or reincarnations before they united physically. Then the first child was born. These 120 forms were all aspects of that two-in-one human being which was Meher Baba, the Avatar. Henceforth, every time I came down to earth as Avatar, you, the 120, came with me. In the last cycle (the present one) you have come with me 5,329 times. There will be one more manifestation after another 450 years. That will be the last one, although the universe is never finished.

So, I am both personal and impersonal, but even in the impersonal I am fully conscious. The Ocean is Baba and also the conscious drop. I experience myself in every one consciously.

What it all amounts to is this: when you again enter the Infinite Ocean of Baba, which is Love, Happiness, Power, the work is finished. Your passing through evolution means millions of minute form, then in reincarnation passing through millions of forms as man. Then starts the Ascent and all this evolution and reincarnation appear merely a dream. You are what you were originally, but then you were not aware of it, now you are.

Those who return after Realization are Perfect Masters. Working with them, under them, are a whole Universe of Agents. The Perfect Masters control the whole universe, yet they remain detached from the universe, they are the Ocean, in the drops, in every phase of evolution and reincarnation, yet they are at the same time aloof. The Emperor, who is head of all Masters, controls also the working of the Masters.

Agents are of two types: with form and without form. Agents without form have no connection with the other Agents, because, not having undergone the process of evolution, they are of a different order of beings. But they are powerful. They have no mind, no desire, no form. They are spirits and appear like sparks. An illumined person can see them even with the physical eye. Here, about me now are so many. They have no mind, yet can hear and see, because they feel. They do whatever they see and hear; then through feeling they pass it on to the unconscious Ocean. It becomes focused in the Creation-Point, and thus becomes evident to the Perfect Masters, who are in the Ocean and one with the Creation-Point. Everything which these millions of agents see or hear goes to the Perfect Masters.

The second type of agents are of four different types: Avtad, Abdal, Afreed, Afsoon. All of these agents are in bodies; they have minds and are very powerful, but they are not perfect. The first type give and receive messages to the Perfect Masters somewhat as a wireless operator functions. The second type can appear and disappear at will thousands of miles distant from their physical bodies. When the first type of agents has a message to transmit to the Perfect Masters, they must relay it through the second type — the Abdals — who then go where ever their service may be required, if there is something in the message which requires their aid.

I will give an example: Once, in the time of Piran — a Perfect Master — some of his disciples were on their way to India from Arabia in a small boat. When the boat was at the point of capsizing, the Avtads (first group) at once sent messages to the Master Piran and the Abdals appeared and saved the disciples. Piran was aware of their danger simultaneously with the happening, but even before his command, the Abdals had instantly appeared at the scene of danger and saved the situation. At this same moment Piran began to bleed and when his disciples inquired as to the cause of the bleeding, he told them of the above danger to his absent disciples. Even greater work is done by the third and fourth categories — the Afreeds and Afsoons. Whereas the Avtads always appear mad, the Afreeds and Afsoons appear sane. These latter types are most powerful. They can even create living forms at will, yet they are not perfect. Only one thing is real — the infinite Ocean of love. Billions of messages every day pass over me. Only the important ones I deal with myself. You are all one with the Ocean, yet still separate in consciousness.

There is one type of saint, not an agent, who can at will separate every limb from his body and re-assemble them again. He is able to do this because he knows the body to be a form of illusion, he makes it do his will. But this is child's play. There are Yogis who can tell every word that is written on the pages of a book which they have never even seen. This is also child's play. There are Yogis who can walk on water. In Benares there is one who walks on the Ganges, but this is childish. Only love can make you happy, make you know the Infinite by being one with It.

Scientists can not go beyond space, where the Infinite is. Material power exists in space.
