HEART TALK - More Original Letters: Eighth Letter

This letter is from Swami Bhabananda, a sincere young man,
who first came for Baba's darshan in Bangalore in 1939. Baba
sent him on a pilgrimage to Ceylon and in March 1940 to
Sholapur, where Gadekar arranged a public meeting at which
Bhabananda spoke. 

Swami Bhabananda was one of the four men that Baba ordered
to remain in seclusion on silence on Ankai Mountain, and later at
Meherabad.  

Tragically, Swami Bhabananda committed suicide in 1941.
Nevertheless, his name was included by Baba in the list of close
departed ones, which Baba instructed be immortalized at a
Memorial Tower at Meherabad.

On the feet of my Master

Ohm Sree Sadguru Meher Baba Baba! Bhabananda receives
Your Love and blessings through the letter on the name of Mr.
Gadekar. In that letter Mother Norina asked me to send Baba's
Photo according to my prayer. You will tell her that she should
send [the] Photo in Bombay because I shall leave Solapur to-
morrow. If I get this things, "Scheme of Meher Baba Universal
Spiritual Centre," Meher Baba; By His Eastern and Western
Disciple." "The Sayings of Shri Meher Baba" and is any Hindi or
Gujarati Publications about Baba's works, will help me more for
Baba's work. Baba, for the ups and downs of mind some times
pessimism appears to me.

Give me unfailing strength and trust that I can do selfless service
for the sake of humanity. Teach me how to sacrifice myself for
the spiritual uplift of the world. Egoism sometimes disturbs me
that I can understand but in what way may I ruin it! Please

my mother Norina and others
