In His Service Previews: January 2008 Issue
The next issue of the Trust newsletter, In His Service, includes
fascinating pieces about the following topics: the long-awaited release
of the revised sixth edition of the Discourses, the exciting new
displays in the Meherabad Museum, a history of the never-ending search
for an adequate water supply at Meherabad, a glimpse of the activities
at this year's Young Adult Sahavas, and a preview of the upcoming
fiftieth anniversary commemoration of the final Meherabad sahavas, which

*Revised Sixth Edition of Discourses Released in November*

revised sixth edition, which makes available once more a primary text
that has been out of print for several decades. Based upon the original
three-volume sixth edition that was released in 1967. the revised sixth
edition was edited and prepared for publication under the auspices of
the Avatar Meher Baba Trust. Learn details about the fascinating
contents of the fourth volume, which contains invaluable supplemental
information, including an eighty-page history of the Discourses and
information about key terms in Meher Baba's spiritual vocabulary.
*Displays in the Meherabad Museum*
Find out about six exciting new displays that have recently been added
to the museum. Learn about changes in the way exhibits are displayed
that should help extend their life and help make them more accessible to
pilgrims.
*The Quest for Water at Meherabad*
Learn about the history of water exploration in Meherabad, and find out
about the important progress that has been made over the years. See how
the prospects for an adequate water supply are better now than they have
ever been.
*Meherabad Sahavas Commemoration Planned for February*
Find out how the fiftieth anniversary of the sahavas that Meher Baba
held in Meherabad in February 1958 will be commemorated this year,
featuring some twenty-five of the original attendees sharing memories of
the original event.
*Meherabad Young Adults Sahavas*
See what an exciting array of activities were featured for participants
at this year's Young Adults Sahavas, which was attended by a capacity
group of about one hundred sahavasees who came to Meherabad from many
parts of India and around the world.
