[Meher-Center-Messages] Announcement: Bhau Program Changes and 50th Anniversary Celebration Programs

Greetings from Meher Spiritual Center,

There have been some changes to Bhau Kalchuri's program schedule. The 
remaining events with Bhau are as follows for May 16 - 20:

Bhau's Friday night talk has been cancelled.

Sat.:   11:00 a.m.   Bhau Talk at the Barn 
       (was originally scheduled for 10:30)

Sat.:   7:30 p.m.   Bhau Talk at the Meeting Place

Sun.:   9:30 a.m.   Bhau Meets with Teens and Young Adults at Dilruba
       (was originally scheduled for 10:30, then 11:00)

Sun.:   5:00 p.m.   Bhau Internet Chat at Richard Blum residence

Mon.:   10:30 a.m.   Bhau Talk at the Barn
       (final talk)

The Monday night and Tuesday morning Bhau programs have been cancelled.

Bhau will leave the Center early Tuesday morning for California.

Note that all Bhau programs are tentative. Please call before coming.

>From May 17 - 30 the Center will have several programs to celebrate   the 
50th Anniversary of the 1958 Sahavas with Meher Baba at Meher Spiritual Center.

Saturday, May 17, 8:45 am
Honoring Baba’s arrival fifty years ago, prayers and Arti in Meher Abode 
Compound.
Baba’s House will be open from 9 to 11 am, (the first half hour is for new 
guests only).

Thursday, May 22, 8:00 pm
Wendy Connor speaking of her time with Baba in 1958; at the Shrine Club (9589 
N. Kings Hwy.).

Saturday, May 24, noon to 2 pm
Community and Center guest picnic, on the grass near the Original Kitchen. 
Bring your own lunch; cake and beverages will be provided.

Saturday, May 24, 8:15 pm
Charles Haynes speaking in the Meeting Place about being with Baba at the 
Center in 1958.

Wednesday, May 28, 8:00 pm
In the Meeting Place, video tape of a panel discussion held at the Center, 
May 27, 1988. Participants were Harold Rudd, Ralph and Stella Hernandez, Peter 
Saul, and Andy Muir.

Thursday, May 29, 11:00 am
Walk to the beach, remembering Baba’s visit to the beach that same day fifty 
years ago. Meet in the Barn parking area.

Friday, May 30, 9:00 am
Honoring Baba’s departure on this day, prayers and Arti in Meher Abode 
Compound.

Friday, May 30, 8:15 pm
Tex Hightower speaking in the Meeting Place about times at the Center with 
Baba in 1958.
