July 4, 2008

Jai Meher Baba!..... As you may be aware, or resident doctor, Dr. Anne 
Moreigne, has left India for visa work, and plans to return August 7th 
if the work goes as she hopes.  Meanwhile, our medical needs until 
August will be met in the best way possible by the following people at 
the following times:
 
Dr. Shibon Tembhekar, Physician:
     Meher Hospital: 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, Sat. and Sun. evenings, 
254-8758.  ON CALL for home and Meherabad visits after 6:00 pm weekdays, 
after 1 pm Saturdays and all day Sundays:  Home 2548690; Mobile: 9923431307.
 
Doctors Dagade, Waghmare and Bhunashri:
      Meher Health Center: 9 am to 1 pm and 3-5 pm every day except 
Sundays, 2548689.  Dr. Waghmare ON CALL for home and Meherabad visits 
after clinic hours: Mobile: 9822812404.
 
Caran St. John, Assistant to Dr. Anne:
     MPR: 9 am to 10 am, Mondays through Saturdays (Sundays in 
emergency).  ON CALL by mobile: 9881480298; or home: 2548178.
 
Melinda McCollough, Nurse at MPR (working with Caran)
      MPR: 9 am to 10 am, Mondays through Saturdays, and in emergency 
for MPR. Mobile: 9850169021.
 
Sister Laxmi Kamble, Nurse
     Meher Hospital: 9 am to 1 pm and 5 to 6:30 pm, every day except 
Tuesdays, for minor health problems (such as wound dressings, headaches, 
colds, etc.)
 
Mike McDonald and Sarah Schall, Homeopathic Clinicians:
    MPR: Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays, 3 pm to 4 pm and as otherwise 
posted by them.
 
IF TOTAL EMERGENCY:
Call Caran and Dr. Tembhekar, and with directions, take patient to Anand 
Rishiji Hospital in Ahmednagar (closest hospital to Meherabad).  (For 
example: cases of suspected heart attack, stroke, extreme blood loss, 
etc.)  NOTE: In case of neck or back injury, DO NOT MOVE PATIENT UNTIL
DIRECTED BY DOCTOR OR NURSE TO DO SO.

Call Caran and Dr. Tembhekar and bring patient to Meher Hospital.
                                            Or
Call Dr. Waghmare at Meher Health Center and bring patient to Meher 
Health Center.
 
NOTE: Special hours will be kept during Silence Day period (July 9th, 
10th, 11th, and 12th).  Doctors' consulting times at the MPR and at 
Meher Hospital are 9 am to 11 am and 5 pm to 6:30 pm on those 4 days. 
Meher Hospital will be staffed with nurses 24 hours and with full 
support staff on these days.
