Dear friends in Meherabad,

The flu is still going through Meherabad and Arangaon.
I feel we are not careful enough to stop it from spreading.
Please let me repeat how to prevent new cases:

1) cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze.Rather than using your hand
for this purpose, cough in a hankerchief or in the crook of your elbow.
If you cough in your hand, then go wash your hands right away.

2) if someone with the flu coughs in their hands, and does not wash them,
then they will leave the virus on everything they touch, door handles,
phones, serving spoons...this is how it is transmitted to others.
So PLEASE WASH YOUR HANDS !

3) if you feel sick, stay home! Avoid going to MPR for meals if you are not
staying there. If it is the only place for you to eat, then at least stay
away from other pilgrims and be specially careful to wash your hands.
Anyone feeling sick should not go to Meherazad or to gatherings such as
Bhauji 's talks or arti until they have stopped coughing... Catching the
flu is much more serious for elderly persons such as Baba's mandali. Please
lovingly remind the people around you who are unwell that they must not go
to Meherazad.

Specially, I repeat, anyone with a cold or a cough should not do Samadhi
duty and give out prasad.

In Beloved Baba's service,
Dr Anne

PS: If you feel you are catching the flu, drinking ginger tea to induce
sweating is a good way to nip it in the bud.
