folios #2v034-2v037, November 30 - December 4, 1926.

The holiday atmosphere continued with excellent food, games, walks and spiritual discussions. Baba expressed annoyance at having been served tea from a kettle that was improperly soldered. He told the mandali to observe extreme cleanliness in all matters relating to his person. He explained that he could as well be filthy as clean since both were the same to him; however he required to be the extreme of whichever situation he chose. Were he to begin keeping unclean, he and his surroundings would become so filthy as to discourage people from approaching him.

After supper Baba distributed jelebis and played cards. The losers had to do "sit and stand in quick succession" for several minutes to the amusement of the others. Five mandali who had remained at Meherabad arrived. The next day Rustomji came with the last remaining mandali plus twelve school boys.

In discussion it was decided to place some of the boys with Kaka and the remainder in boarding houses at Ahmednagar with Satha to oversee their studies at Baba's expense. When the boys expressed disappointment, Baba ordered that they be returned to their homes. The boys wept. Baba rescinded the order and told Nisal to secure their parents consent to the plan for continuing education in Ahmednagar. Nisal and the boys departed by train. Dr. Abderrehman sang for Baba in the evening.

Arjoon, whose health was poor, was moved by carrige to Dr. Biwalkar's Health Home. A "great rush of visitors" sought Darshan throughout visitors' day and in the evening the number increased. Despite the crowd, Baba found time to visit Arjoon at the Health Home. The rush continued the next day, including visitors who came from Poona. A photograph was taken of Baba and the mandali along with a number of visitors. At night Baba visited Arjoon again in order to arrange for his comfort and medical treatment.
